The story behind
From elementary school onward, I knew creativity would be my path. While I spent hours drawing in my TOPModel books, I designed and sold my first phone cases. My teenage years brought new adventures, like launching the BFF magazine with friends. At sixteen, I finally decided to pursue my dream in the fashion world.
On January 24, 2018, Tezza Fashion was born. What began as a children's clothing collection, inspired by the birth of my nephew and nieces, quickly grew into a label with a broader vision. After a year and a half, the focus shifted to women's clothing: T-shirts, sweaters, and hoodies with unique prints and designs.
For three years, I worked towards a bigger dream: developing complete collections of jackets, trousers, and statement pieces. That dream became a reality. Since January 2024, Tezza Fashion has been available not only online but also at select retailers. A special moment, because that's when my mother, Ilona, officially joined the brand.
Together we are a mother-daughter duo that wants women of all ages to shine in colorful, comfortable and exclusive clothing.

2018
On January 24, 2018, Tezza Fashion officially registered with the Chamber of Commerce. The first collection focused on children's clothing, inspired by the birth of Tessa's nieces and nephews. She enjoyed dressing them in cheerful, unique outfits—the first step toward what would later become a full-fledged fashion house.

2019
On May 12, 2019, Tezza Fashion discontinued its children's clothing line. From that point on, the brand focused entirely on women's fashion: T-shirts, sweaters, and hoodies with unique designs. This new step allowed Tezza Fashion to further develop and reach a wider audience.

2021
On February 16, 2021, Tezza Fashion made a major transformation: the sole proprietorship was converted into Tezza Lifestyle Company BV. This step marked the start of a more professional, future-oriented approach and laid the foundation for further growth.

2022
On March 25, 2022, the women's collection was expanded to include jackets, trousers, skirts, and more. Tezza Fashion celebrated this milestone with the opening of its very first pop-up store , which showcased the latest designs for three days.

2024
On January 21, 2024, Tezza Fashion made its debut at Modefabriek , the leading Dutch fashion trade fair. This milestone marked the start of a new growth phase, during which the brand focused on expanding to select points of sale and strengthening its reputation within the fashion industry.

TODAY
Today, Tezza Fashion launches an exclusive collection twice a year , curated with an eye for the latest trends and unique designs. The collections are available through the official webshop and at more than ten select stores throughout the Netherlands.

The origin of our logo
The Tezza logo is entirely hand-drawn and designed. The name "TEZZA" actually came about by accident: it was originally supposed to say "TESSA." Because of Tessa's dyslexia, the mistake didn't immediately catch her eye. It wasn't until she showed the design to her mother that she was told, "Did you know there are two Zs in it?"
What started with a smile quickly took on a deeper meaning. The extra 'Z' refers to Tessa's surname, Zwartepoorte . Thus, the logo evolved into a personal symbol, with a story that perfectly reflects Tezza Fashion's identity.

Tezza Fashion's identity revolves around the interplay of blue and pink . These colors represent the harmonious balance our brand stands for.
